Starting Strength
So I've just finished my first week of "Mark Rippetoe's Starting Strength" and I must say it wasn't very beneficial to my body. Mostly I was just finding my limit's, finding the correct starting weight.
So here's my starting weight's as well as my routine for those unfamiliar with Mark's program.
Workout A
Squats- Do 3 sets of 5 reps (My starting weight is 80 lbs.)
Bench Press- Do 3 sets of 5 reps (Starting weight= 60 lbs.)
Deadlift- Do 1 set of 5 reps (Starting weight= 120lbs.)
Workout B
Squats- Do 3 sets of 5 reps
Standing Military Press- Do 3 sets of 5 reps
Bent Rows, or Power Cleans- Do 3 sets of 5 reps
Tomorrow I will find my starting weights for Workout B, Squats of course will be the same starting weight.
